They design, build and maintain mechanical systems for commercial and industrial facilities.The RoleThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing project management expertise, leadership, mentoring, advice, and sharing their technical knowledge, to contribute to the business's success.The ResponsibilitiesPromote and model the company\'s values and behavioursSupport and develop a skilled team capable of delivering exceptional project management to support all divisions, aligned with the company's strategic objectives and contribute to profitability.Work with the General Manager to develop and manage the budget, including allocating resources to ensure operations\' effectiveness.Deliver projects, monitor project progress and ensure project deliverables are met.Promote and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards and the company\'s WHSEQ systems.Participate in internal and external QA auditsEnsure workplace health, safety, environment and quality management principles are included in, and actively participate in, organisational planning and operational activities, including hazard/risk identification, risk management, monitoring, reporting, operational performance and operational review, all with a view to improving WHSEMS performance.Ensure the provision of workplace health safety, environmental and quality information, and all policies and procedures are available through the quality system.Consult with employees and other interested parties and ensure participation to improve decision-making and outcomes of the WHSEMS and Quality system.Contribute to Division planning and participate in, and contribute to, other planning activities as required.Work collaboratively with the General Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of the business.Work with General Manager and People & Culture Manager to ensure qualified staff and contractors are employed as required.Develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to strengthening and growing the company\'s strategic stakeholder relationships.The Position SpecificsManage direct report Project ManagersCoach and support project managers in developing their project construction and management skills.Manage site teamsConduct project start-up meetings with the team to ensure roles and responsibilities are clear.Develop, document and implement project plansTrack and update project milestones, deliverables and budgetManage contracts and ensure contract conformanceCreate and manage subcontractor contracts and purchase ordersManage contract correspondence, contract variations/change orders and project administrationInvoice and collect project receivablesApprove project payablesLead project team meetingsManage overall labour requirements, including setting up cost codesReview drawings for QA sign-off and manufactureThe Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monthly reports, budget updates, and progress claims are completed accurately and on time.Toolbox and Monthly Reports 100% are completed appropriately and on timeITPs and QA plans and records are completed accurately and on time.Customer relationships, both internal and external, are positive100% adherence to the company\'s WHS proceduresThe Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesHighly developed project management skillsHighly developed coaching skillsExpertise in mechanical servicesAwareness and understanding of construction contracts for the relevant jurisdictionThe Requirements/QualificationsTen years of experience in a similar roleCertificate IV in Project Management Practice (essential) or relevant industry experienceDiploma in Project Management (desirable) or relevant industry experienceDiploma of Management (desirable) or relevant industryWhy CSA RecruitmentCraig Andresen has been a professional Recruitment Consultant since 2006 and has been deeply embedded in the Australian HVAC industry since 2012, so he\'s extremely well-positioned to assist you with your next career move.If you would like to contact Craig Andresen regarding this role or anything else that may suit your skills & experience, please feel free to do so by following the below details:****** 909 802www.csarecruitment.com.auRest assured that CSA Recruitment treats all applications with the strictest confidence.Please note that we are only accepting applications from candidates currently residing in Australia who possess the relevant skills & experience required.
