We're on a mission to redefine the customer experience, and we need a passionate Desktop Support Officer - Site Lead to join our expanding team in Echuca VIC.
Your role will be to provide friendly and knowledgeable support to customers with a positive, can-do attitude. You will have the opportunity to interact with a wide array of technology, including macOS and Windows PCs, tablets, server systems, network infrastructure, and voice platforms, although the bulk of server and network management will be handled by our specialist teams.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a medium-sized technical team in day-to-day operations.
Build a friendly rapport with end-users through effective communication and customer service.
Collaborate with your team to identify and improve processes for efficiency.
Coordinate escalation of support tickets effectively.
Seek and act on customer feedback to improve service quality.
Develop and implement new processes for issues without existing procedures.
Ensure documentation and procedures are current and accurate.
Take ownership of daily technology issues and liaise with external vendors as needed.
Work with other teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and ensuring seamless service delivery.
Strong customer service skills, with a passion for helping others resolve technical issues.
Interest in technology and willingness to learn new solutions and concepts.
Effective troubleshooting communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
Positive attitude and proactive mindset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility to handle unusual situations, including adjusting work schedules.
Experience in the education sector is desirable but not required.
