For an Accounts Payable & Employment Fund Support Officer to join the team at IntoWork Australia, to work effectively and collaboratively with the Finance team across the IntoWork Australia Group.
The role can be based at our Northcote, Vic or Milton, Qld offices with hybrid working arrangements available. This is a fixed term position for a 12 month term.

**The Role**:
**Accounts Payable**
- Raise purchase orders, track purchase orders and delivery of goods
- Code and verify invoices & obtain internal authorisations on invoices
- Reconcile supplier statements, dealing with discrepancies, process payments online
- Manage relationships with suppliers after Procurement build the relationship
- Liaise with creditors on their accounts and advise them when they can expect payment
- Produce weekly ageing report for review
- Ensure electronic filing is up to date
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Assist with End of Month processing by balancing creditors against trade creditors
- Provide complete process documentation to Auditors
- **Employment Fund Support**:
- **Process of creditor payments within Employment fund**:
- Ensure tax invoices comply with Australian Taxation Office guidelines and regulations
- Upload supplier invoices, validate information and process approved invoices.
- Process regular payment runs.
- Implement required process for reimbursement of invoices.
- Update and maintain supplier details, attaching supporting documentation to comply with audit requirements
- Liaise with Accounts Payable regarding the set-up of new suppliers and payment terms
- Review creditor statements, reconcile accounts as required and provide a responsive service to supplier account enquiries
- Support the Client Fund Coordinator in the delivery of the Employment fund Service under the Workforce Australia contract. This includes coverage of the role when the Client Fund Coordinator is on leave.
- Process payments and reimbursements through the JobReady system and liaise with the Accounts Payable team and IntoJobs teams to ensure completeness of records
**Customer Service**
- Deliver a superior service to our suppliers and clients including responding to queries and requests within appropriate timeframes
- Effectively communicate with all stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure alignment is reached and satisfaction is achieved in service delivery
- Be proactive in identifying areas of risk within the accounts function to ensure efficient accounts processing and ongoing customer satisfaction
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role.
- A certificate III or a certificate IV in Accounting (desired)
- Experience with Employment Fund and the Workforce Australia contract is essential
- Proficiency in a recognised accounting software package is essential, with knowledge of Arrow Accounting Package, D365 BC & Microsoft Business Central considered advantageous
- Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is essential particularly in Excel
- Ability to work across multiple organisations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
- High level of personal initiative
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Ability to analyse problems and present solutions to complex issues
