John Holland CPB Contractors (JHCPB) is delivering the $4.6bn Rozelle Interchange and Western Harbour Tunnel Southern Works construction projects.
Rozelle Interchange is an underground motorway that will provide connectivity under Sydney's vibrant Inner West and create the Rozelle Parklands, close to 10 hectares of new green space.
We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join the team.
**The role**:
The purpose of this critical role is to implement and control Safety Management requirements, strategies and initiatives across the Project to support the ongoing development of an effective culture for WHS, and to ensure adherence to all government laws, regulations and parent company, or industry HSEQ standards and guidelines.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Demonstrated Safety Lead/Management experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health, Health, Safety or equivalent post graduate qualifications
- Previous experience in the Construction industry
- Major project experience will be highly regarded
- Safety Auditing qualification (Lead Auditor) and an awareness of the Work Health Safety Act
- Experience in procedure development and Risk Management
