**About the role**

We are seeking a Technical Quality Control specialist, to perform a business-critical function, within our Engineering Services function. Working in close collaboration with Data Management and Quality Assurance stakeholders, the Technical QC Lead manage a team of quality controllers and direct the execution of L3Harris QC processes, to prevent product failures and guarantee safety standards are upheld for both our customers and internal departments.

The primary remit of this role is to ensure the quality of all outsourced components, in-house assembled products and manufactured goods, in accordance with ISO 9001 guidelines. Day to day duties in this role could include establishing quality specifications, developing inspection & sampling systems, carrying out defect evaluations, reviewing QC processes for continuous improvement opportunities and evaluating competing technologies and market trends in relevant product areas.

**About you**

To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;
- Previous technical services experience in a complex product environment
- Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance standards
- Demonstrated experience in technical services design activities and review processes
- Experience with testing and acceptance practices
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, material and environmental design standards
