The Role
This diverse and hands on role will assist with managing the investment accounting for IFM products and investments as directed by the Director, Associate Director or Manager, Investment Accounting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare timely and accurate Net Asset Values and Unit Prices.
- Record transactions in fund accounting systems.
- Perform cash and position reconciliations where required.
- Preparation and review of information for investors.
- Preparation of financial statements and reconciliations.
- Assist with statutory reporting for compliance.
- Assist with tax reporting and payments.
- Assist with take on and transition of additional investment accounting functions.
- Support various initiatives including trade and transaction settlements and reconciliations.
- Adhoc reporting for operations and front office stakeholders.
Your Background and Experience
- Experience typically 5 years in accounting, particularly investment accounting.
- Must have tertiary qualification in law, commerce, economics, finance or related field.
- Must have CA/CPA qualifications (or working towards).
- May have post-graduate qualifications
- Significant financial knowledge
