Investment Accounting Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Accountant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing investment-related financial tasks, including preparation and reconciliation of financial statements and reports.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reconciling investment-related financial statements and reports.
  • Monitoring and analysing portfolio performance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Managing daily accounting tasks related to investments, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of audit schedules and liaising with external auditors as required.
  • Supporting the implementation of new accounting systems or processes within the department.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
  • CA/CPA Qualified, Business Services experience within a CA or CPA Firm.
  • Experience in investment accounting or financial reporting within the Financial Services industry ideal.
