**Role Description**:
Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) are excited to be able to offer opportunities to join an amazing workforce of Trainee Dental Assistant through a traineeship with one of our high-profile host employers in the metropolitan area.

ACA is seeking applicants for full time and part time traineeships for a dental assistant position. If you are someone who is eager to begin their dental career, we want to hear from you

You will be provided with hands on training in a host employer's modern, state of the art environment, whilst undergoing your Certificate III in Dental Assisting (fully funded).

About the role:

- Chair side assisting the operators in all general dental procedures
- Maintaining the surgery in accordance with our practice infection control policy
- Processing and sterilising instruments
- Utilising a computer and dental software
- Assisting the front reception when required

What we are looking for:

- The ability to demonstrate exceptional patient care
- Able to work well in a team orientated environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Have a positive can-do attitude, be flexible and adaptable
- An enthusiasm to learn new skills and continually improve

Eligibility
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or a permanent Australian resident
- Working with Children Check (willing to obtain)
- Proof of immunisation - COVID-19, two doses and booster
