**About the Opportunity**:

- Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology_ now has two exciting opportunities for full-time **Laboratory Assistants** to join our Processing Room Area and Archive Area in the Histopathology department of our Bowen Hills laboratory.

Processing Room duties may include:

- Processor maintenance
- Monitoring and changing solutions
- Maintaining safe and compliant chemical storage within the Dangerous Goods room
- Specimen storage/disposal
- Daily inventory

Archive Area duties may include:

- Block retrieval for Immunohistochemistry, Pathologists and other external requests
- IHC waste management
- Stores inventory

To thrive in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual who is flexible in your approach and has strong communication skills. You will be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work as part of a team successfully.

Moreover, you will have strong computer skills and be willing to do other general laboratory duties, as required.
