**About us**
Queensland Hydro is a publicly owned entity established by the Queensland Government to design, deliver, operate and maintain long duration pumped hydro energy storage assets that will be the cornerstone for the transformation of the state's energy system.

We are playing a critical role in helping to meet the Queensland Government's renewable energy targets and net zero emissions by 2050, to provide the long-term storage and reliability needed to power Queensland's clean energy future

Following the recent announcement of Queensland's Energy and Jobs Plan, we are now building our team to develop these exciting projects.

**The role**
The Office Administrator will play a key role in the efficient running of head office activities and will assist a range of managers and stakeholders across a vast number of administrative and office management tasks. Responsibilities will include:

- Delivery of general administration duties including arranging travel, coordination of events, catering, and payment of invoices
- Ordering and coordination of IT equipment, stationery, and supplies
- Liaising with facilities and maintenance managers
- Providing administrative support to the Corporate team and assist with employee onboarding duties
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations
- Provide support to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive
- Proactively drive engagement activities to develop the culture of the office

**About you**
To be considered for this role you will ideally possess:

- Well-developed interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and coordinate activities to meet deadlines
- Ability in the use of Microsoft Office programs and possess the ability to acquire knowledge of relevant software packages
- Experience as an Office Administrator in a diverse, complex, medium or large organisation.
- Demonstrated ability in administrative procedures (diary management, creation and maintenance of registers)
- Reporting and analytical skills
- Ability to independently draft correspondence, reports and presentations
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
