Our client is an highly respected global law firm seeking support within their marketing /new business teams across various practice/industry groups. Reporting to and working alongside the Senior Business Development Manager you will work with local and interstate teams to help win, retain and grow business.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Act as one of two points of contact for all marketing/business development activities
- Managing the firm's relationships with industry associations and organisations in the form of sponsorship, memberships and events
- Building and maintaining close working relationships with colleagues to ensure corresponding groups benefit from best practice
- Assisting in the execution of pitch opportunities
- Budget management
- Coordinating activities which support brand promotion such as website content, newsletters and client eDMs
- Identifying, capturing and managing relevant market and firm intelligence such as client contact information
- Capturing business development leads to enable the practice to promote grow its business.

**Key requirements include**:

- A minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing and/or business development role
- The ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- An understanding of strategic marketing and communications
- The ability to work with a minimum of supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
- The ability to anticipate requirements and potential consequences
- A high degree of attention to detail
- Composure when dealing with difficult situations
- The ability to develop and nurture internal and external relationships.
