Maintenance Engineer - MechanicalOverviewWe are seeking 2 Maintenance Engineers to join the Maintenance and Utilities – Maintenance Services Team, working the afternoon shift (14:30-22:21) at the CSL Behring Broadmeadows site.
This is an ongoing role.
You will lead and manage a Mechanical trades team and provide engineering and maintenance support to the site.The RoleReporting to the Senior Manager, Maintenance Services Mechanical & Refrigeration, your responsibilities will include:Provide maintenance and engineering solutions to improve plant and equipment reliabilityProvide leadership and supervision for Mechanical Technicians; manage maintenance activities during facility shutdown periodsEnsure preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities are performed safely and efficientlyInvestigate process, plant, and equipment failures, determine the cause of failure, and develop permanent solutionsProvide technical advice in Manufacturing facilities on-siteDevelop close working relationships with personnel in Operations, Electrical & Instrumentation, System Owner Group, Planning & Support Group, and QualityMaintain training and documentation relevant to the mechanical teamExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical or Process EngineeringExperience in a batch manufacturing environment, specifically in filling / packaging / palletisingAt least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering positionExperience in a GMP environment would be an advantage, but is not essentialPrevious experience in a supervisory role overseeing contractors or tradesKnowledge of maintenance systems and familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Why Join CSL?
