Parks Maintenance Technician Full-time position

">About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Parks Maintenance Technician to join our team in Melbourne, FL. As a key member of our grounds and facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our parks and public spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide general care and maintenance to buildings, grounds, and parks
  • Cutting and edging grass using hand and power tools
  • Sweeping walks, removing refuse and trash, cleaning buildings, picnics, restrooms, and camping areas
  • Assisting in skilled trades such as plumbing, painting, carpentry, and helping with installations and repairs
  • Loading and unloading heavy materials from trucks and other equipment
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 months of experience in grounds and building maintenance
  • Experience in mechanical or equipment repair is preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, pass a drug test, and background screening
