PSP are exclusively recruiting this Talent Acquisition Team Leader (Band 7) position on behalf of the Banyule City Council.

Reporting directly to the Organisational Development Coordinator, the role sits within People and Culture, in the Corporate Services Directorate. The positions key objectives include:

- The Talent Acquisition Team Leader is a specialist role working with hiring managers and the People & Culture team to create best practice processes for all recruitment activities.
- The role will coach and mentor leaders within the organisation to ensure that they are equipped with the right tools/skills to make sound recruitment decisions.
- Working across Council, this role will assist hiring managers with sourcing talent using various online methods to ensure best practice approaches to recruitment, onboarding and inclusive employment.

Essential Skills and Experience required:

- Extensive experience gained in a recruitment role within a complex organisational environment.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to determine stakeholder needs, to gain their commitment of people management matters and organisational development programs.
- Well-developed communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to plan, undertake and manage projects from inception to delivery.
- A track record of delivering positive organisational recruitment outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with all levels of management and staff to coach and support in relation to recruitment policies and practices.
- Experienced in the use of recruitment tools (applicant tracking systems), websites and preplacement check systems.
- Sound knowledge of applicable legislation, human resource policies and procedures and recruitment procedures.
- Covid Vaccinations certificate and probity checks will be required.
