**We have a very exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced professional to a full time, permanent Grade 3 Social Work position, to work in the Special Care Nursery and lead the Women's and Children's social work team at Casey Hosptial.**

**About You**

You will be an experienced social worker with high level experience in the acute hospital setting working with adults with complex care needs within the women and children's area. The position is located at Casey Hospital and will provide clinical services to the Women's and Children's team in addition to the leadership for the broader Casey Hospital Social Work team. This is an opportunity to build a new team and make the role your own.

The purpose of the Team Leader position in Social Work is to provide leadership and supervision in a professional, high quality, patient and family focussed approach. You will be providing leadership and clinical care to support the team deliver Social Work services across a diverse hospital cohort.

**What you need**:

- An Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) accredited Bachelor Degree or entry level Master's Degree of Social Work that provides eligibility for membership of the AASW.
- Extensive experience in health social work
- Relevant (or working towards) post graduate qualifications
