**Your Opportunity**

We're currently seeking an experienced **Manager Safety** to lead the implementation of our safety strategy and champion a proactive safety culture across our operations. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll influence safety excellence, drive innovation, and embed sustainable safety practices into every aspect of our business.

Key accountabilities include:

- Lead the development and execution of IGO's safety strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives;
- Provide expert guidance to operational teams, ensuring compliance with legislation, company standards and industry best practices;
- Foster a proactive safety culture through visible leadership, accountability, and employee engagement;
- Oversee risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement;
- Monitor and analyse safety performance metrics, delivering actionable insights to senior leadership;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment in safety practices;
- Drive innovation by identifying and implementing innovative safety technologies and systems; and
- Build and lead a high-performing safety team focused on excellence, collaboration, and customer focused delivery.

**Your Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field;
- Significant experience in a senior safety leadership role, ideally within the mining industry;
- High level influencing skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders;
- Exceptional communication, literacy, numeracy, and presentation skills;
- Demonstrated success in managing diverse teams;
- Experience with Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) or "Safety 2" programs; and
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
