Hourly rate starts from $30.49210 per hour (part-time, trainee)Step into a fully supported employment and training position, where you will work and study for 12 months to gain your qualification.Great working conditionsWork with our established team in Sandgate.Learn on the job and be paid to attend training days.Must be available to work Wednesdays.Shifts available Monday to SundayAre you a caring, supportive, reliable person with a great attitude, who is looking at a rewarding career, where you are paid to learn (on-the-job and attending training days) to obtain a Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021)We are seeking those with a passion for caring for the elderly who want to start their career with a caring, supportive, and progressive company.Our client, a well-established Aged Care organisation ,is seeking new team members (trainees) to join their Aged Care team.No experience or qualification is required, as we will be training you on the job, in Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021).
If successful, you will be assisting the elderly in a Residential Aged Care setting with their daily lifestyle and activities.We are expanding this team to deal with the increase in new residents and the growth of the industry.We are recruiting part-time trainees; you will be offered a minimum of 15 hours (guaranteed) and can work up to 35 hours a week.You will be offered a set 24-month contract for the traineeship, with locked-in shifts on the negotiated days and hours, agreed to by you, during recruitment.
Once qualified, within 12 - 15 months, you will then be moved to a qualified rate.You will be partnered with a workplace Buddy/Mentor who will work with you to train you on the job, and support and guide you.
You will also receive support from the Facility Leadership Team, Learning and Development Team, Registered Training Organisation, and Ternary - throughout your full traineeship.These positions aim to move to ongoing employment.What we are seeking:Have a great attitudeBe reliableWillingness to learn and workAbility to pass a National Police Check (we will get this for you)Must have valid working rights in Australia already and reside in AustraliaTo access State Funding (for the training) must be a Permanent Resident or CitizenHave regular availability to work AM shift 6:30am to 2:30pm, PM 2:30pm to 10:00pm, and to attend training 9:30am to 4:30pmMust be able to work a minimum of 3 days a week, Monday to Sunday.Must be able to work Wednesdays.ServicesPersonal Care (showering, dressing, grooming)Bed making, room tidying upFeedingThe setting of tables and meals for residentsSocial / ActivitiesAbility to listen, build rapport, and work with a range of clients and other staffIf this sounds like an opportunity for you, please apply here or for other roles via
