**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of a fast growing technical services team, where you will spend your day working across very unique electrical sites, as a Transformer Technician. At Ampcontrol, we are challenging the rule book with large-scale projects and industry changing technology for our customers. Working on customer sites and projects that make a real difference, your day to day role will see you become the face of Ampcontrol, working directly on customer sites across generation, transmission, renewables and mining industries.

As part of Ampcontrol's continued growth, we are seeking self-motivated and hands-on Power Transformer Trades & Technicians to join our NSW High Voltage Field Service operation based in Tomago, NSW. You will play a pivotal role within a crew of dedicated Transformer Specialists, under-taking site based refurbishment, maintenance, installation, repair and testing on significant power transformers around Australia.

**ABOUT YOU**:
Your natural inclination to perform work to a high standard, and willingness to work cohesively with your peers will be complemented by the following:

- Experience in team leadership and supervision
- The ability to travel for work where required.
- Significant experience working with transformers (variety of sizes up to 600MVA 500kV
- Experience with Transformer Oil Filtration (desirable but not essential)
- Report preparation
- Current Unrestricted Driver's license

**EDUCATION / TRAINING**

**Required**:

- Trade qualifications (Electrical, Mechanical or Fitter License)
- Driver's License
- Construction Induction (White Card)

Advantageous:

- HR or MR truck licence
- Forklift licence
- Rigger/dogman experience
- EWP
- Working Safely at Heights
- Asbestos Awareness
