Chemical Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Technician to join our team. As a key member of our high-growth group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective processing of various chemical streams.

  • Provide technical support and guidance for the acceptance, treatment, and storage of hazardous chemicals.
  • Deliver technical and analytical support to colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Assist operations with chemical management and production activities.
  • Run experiments, select methods, and validate their suitability to ensure chemicals are processed safely and efficiently.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Your Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A degree in Chemistry and experience working with hazardous chemicals within an industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment or chemical sampling experience.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessments and preparation of work instructions.
  • Accurate record-keeping skills within regulated environments.
  • Solid knowledge of chemical handling legislation, including storage and disposal requirements.
