- 256916Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Performance Tester.

This is a long-term contract for 12 months, with the possibility of extensions up to 12 months, located in Canberra. Working arrangements can be discussed, including on-site work at 51 Allara Street, Canberra, or remote working on a case-by-case basis.
- Plans and drives testing activities across all stages and iterations of product, systems and service development.
- Provides authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of test planning and execution.
- Adopts and adapts appropriate testing methods, automated tools and techniques to solve problems in tools and testing approaches.
- Assesses risks and takes preventative action
- Identifies improvements and contributes to the development of organisational policies, standards, and guidelines for testing.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Extensive experience in performance testing tools such as Load Runner and Performance Centre.
- Strong scripting skills using C, C#, and SQL to create and maintain reusable performance scripts.
- Experience in coordinating with multiple teams for test script execution and monitoring.
- Development and implementation of standards and methodologies for load and performance testing.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to mitigate performance bottlenecks and risks.

It is desirable if you have:

- Experience in load testing using protocols like SAP,.NET, and Citrix.
- Experience in defining performance strategies.
