Performance Test Analyst Role

Key responsibilities of the Performance Test Analyst role include:

  • Collaborating with teams to develop scalable and reusable performance test suites.
  • Mentoring junior testers through regular quality reviews and constructive feedback on industry best practices.
  • Developing performance templates and artefacts for use in project documentation and reporting.
  • Scheduling the execution of performance suites as required.
  • Ensuring comprehensive test coverage including performance and manual exploratory testing.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in OpenText LoadRunner or similar tools, along with a strong understanding of performance best practices and experience working in agile teams. ISTQB certification is also highly advantageous.

Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Performance Test Analyst in OpenText LoadRunner, or equivalent.
  • Proven technical experience and understanding of the OpenText LoadRunner Professional toolset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in written and oral form with a range of people.
