Job Title: Performance Test Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Performance Test Specialist to join our Testing and Quality Assurance team in the Digital Services Division.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Utilise expert level knowledge of performance best practices to enhance test capability maturity.
  • Work with an experienced team to develop scalable and reusable performance test suites.
  • Train and mentor junior testers through regular quality reviews and constructive feedback on industry best practices.
  • Develop performance templates and artefacts for use in project documentation and reporting.
  • Schedule the execution of performance suites when required.
  • Ensure adequate test coverage including performance and manual exploratory testing.
  • Manage defect tracking, issue resolution, and signoffs.
  • Create and present performance test reports to stakeholders.
  • Be responsive, flexible, and work collaboratively as part of an agile team.
  • Execute and report on performance tests using the OpenText LoadRunner toolset.
  • Develop and maintain performance test frameworks and strategies.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain the OpenText LoadRunner Professional on physical and virtual infrastructure.
  • Share outcomes, knowledge, and experience with other analysts in the section.
  • Act as technical escalation point.
  • Provide technical support in the development of performance test deliverables.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in OpenText LoadRunner or equivalent.
  • Enhance the capability of performance testing practices in large organisations.
  • Creating performance test scripts using the OpenText LoadRunner toolset across Web and Web Services protocols.
  • Executing and reporting on performance tests using the OpenText LoadRunner toolset.
