We're looking for an experienced, hands-on, positive leader with a can-do attitude for this Crop Care Supervisor role.
Key responsibilities includePeople ManagementLead recruitment, onboarding, and training of team membersPlan rosters and delegate tasks based on workload forecastMonitor team performance, manage KPIs, and support staff developmentTrack and manage labour hours and promote employee engagement.Crop Work OperationsCoordinate labour strategy with the Growing team.Ensure crop care tasks are completed on time and meet quality deliverablesSupport IPM programs and seasonal cleanOperate and maintain farm equipment and tools.Participate in and oversee crop care tasks like twisting, pruning, and pollination.Report crop and environmental issues and maintain cleanlinessAdministration & ReportingUse labour management software to monitor team performEnsure accurate timekeeping and compliance with proceduresManage documentation like SOPs, risk assessments, and training recordsConduct stocktakes and report maintenance needsContinuous ImprovementEngage in ongoing training and performance reviewsSupport fellow supervisors and cover higher duties as requiredStay up to date with industry standards and improve processesWe're growing - That means you can too
