Bundamba State Secondary College is seeking a reliable and technically capable Computer Assistant to support the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school's Information and Communication Technology systems.

Responsibilities
Undertake routine maintenance and basic repairs of computers and associated ICT equipment within the school
Assist in the installation and configuration of new hardware and software to support teaching and administrative functions
Support the safe operation of computing equipment by monitoring the working environment and implementing preventative measures
Provide technical input and assistance with networking computers and related devices to maintain connectivity and access across the school
Assist in developing and implementing procedures and guidelines for the correct and safe use of school ICT systems
Maintain accurate records of ICT inventory and order replacement parts and supplies as required
Ensure tools and equipment used for ICT support are maintained and service-ready
Undertake other duties as directed by the Principal or nominated delegate, consistent with the role
What You Bring
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or eligibility to obtain one
Current DoE Orange Card School Administrator (OC SA) certification
Experience in the maintenance and basic repair of computer hardware
Prior experience working in a school or education environment preferable
