This pivotal role involves identifying and evaluating opportunities for market entry in wind, solar, and energy storage sectors, as well as developing and implementing strategies to successfully establish and operate in new renewable energy markets.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategy Development**:Devise and execute strategies for successful market entry and operation in new renewable energy markets, considering regulatory compliance and risk management.
- **Opportunity Assessment**: Identify and evaluate potential market entry opportunities in wind, solar, and energy storage sectors, analysing their feasibility, profitability, and alignment with company objectives.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, permits, and environmental standards throughout the market entry process.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Collaborate with internal teams, government bodies, local communities, and industry stakeholders to establish strong partnerships and ensure smooth market entry and operation.
- **Financial Analysis**: Conduct financial assessments and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the viability and profitability of market entry opportunities.
- **Project Management**:Oversee the implementation of renewable energy projects, including site selection, resource assessment, and coordination with engineering and construction teams.
- **Market Research**: Stay updated with industry trends, policy changes, and technological advancements in the renewable energy sector to identify emerging opportunities and competitive advantages.
- **Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with market entry, project development, and operational phases.
- **Reporting and Documentation**: Prepare detailed reports, proposals, and documentation to effectively communicate strategies, findings, and recommendations to internal teams and senior management.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in renewable energy development, market entry, or project management.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
