Job Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the delivery of data analysis, policy proposal briefs, and stakeholder management.
Develop and communicate detailed technical, professional, and policy advice on complex problems to internal and external stakeholders.
Research and implement innovative techniques and interdisciplinary methods to address business issues.
Design statistical, mathematical, and data science models to conduct analytical work addressing business concerns.
Requirements:
Australian citizenship is a prerequisite.
1–10 years of combined actuarial and data science experience are required.
Experience working in government is essential for this role.
Strong technical skills in R, Python, SQL, git, and generalized linear models (GLMs) are necessary.
Leadership or team management experience would be highly regarded for APS6 and EL1 levels.
