Our client is a leading national pharmaceutical business with a range of innovative and premium products. As a key player within the channel, there is a continual focus on innovation to drive growth and ensure the business remains relevant, hence they are in need of a Category Development Manager to join the team.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for:

- Driving the vision and delivery of new products to ensure the business remain competitive and relevant within the health channel.
- Work as a conduit between Sales, Product and Manufacturing, leveraging data, insights and some input from Sales to deliver high-level requirements for new products and existing product improvements, ensuring they align with the overall business strategy.
- Ensure delivery of key NPD projects and ensure that Sales have the right product and product knowledge
- Maintain Health Portfolio to ensure optimal sales and margins can be achieved
- Co-ordinate go-to-market strategies when launching new products or features, by including:

- Product range training and education for agents and distributors and their customers
- Develop Category plan
- Partner with clients to focus and plan category growth
- Insights and data presentation for customers and Sales team visits
- Tradeshow design and implementation
- Brand messaging and promotional design

**Your Background**
- Category experience within a relevant role
- Highly competent working both independently and in teams with strong communication/influencing capabilities
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Able to convert data research into insights
- Financial Acumen
- Tertiary qualification
