We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Modeller/ Data Migration with State Government. The primary responsibility of the Data Migration / Data Modeller is to analyse and document the current enterprise systems architecture.

**About You**

**Key Accountabilities**
- Develop the Data Models across the Enterprise to enable a clear and common understanding of business data and information needs as part of the data strategy
- Work with business and IT teams to build, clarify and formalise business and system structures, relationships, and business rules
- Create logical and physical data models using best practices (standards, naming conventions etc) to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy
- Embed best practices for data migration, data modelling, design, governance, quality, lifecycle, security, and privacy outcomes
- Plan and orchestrate data modelling sessions with key IT and Business SMEs
- Collaborate with the Data Office to develop a consistent data model across the enterprise

**Skills & Experience**

**Technical Skills & Experience**
- 5 years' experience in a similar role or data/information modeller position
- Experience with dimensional modelling, entity-relationship models using relational techniques
- Experience using enterprise data modelling tools (i.e., EA Sparx, ERWin, ER Studio, etc)
- Sound knowledge of data modelling practises, processes, documentation, and artefacts
- Results driven, analytical and creative thinker, and innovative problem solver
- Experience working in an Agile environment with mínimal supervision
- Stakeholder management
