**The Organisation**

Educating Adventures is a true purposeful organisation, voted Fast50 growing company, providing world leading school trips. This New Zealand and Australian based organisation, works with secondary school teachers in the planning, co-ordinating and end to end management of educational and outdoor based school trips. Their travel managers are located in NZ and Australia supporting schools to design bespoke trips for youth enabling life changing, educational experiences in exciting destinations around the world, and by doing this are helping to create tomorrow's global citizens.

**The Job & Experience Required**

Let's discuss your exciting new position as a School Travel Manager at Educating Adventures.

You will be passionate about youth, international travel and outdoor adventures and understand the benefits that these life changing experiences can have for students. You will come from a group travel sales background, ideally working within the school travel sector however experience in corporate or other kinds of business development/relationship management would be considered.

You must demonstrate experience in sales and customer service and be confident dealing with professionals within the education sector, understanding the unique requirements of each school their teachers and students.

You will have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to co-ordinate travel plans in various time zones and have impeccable attention to detail ensuring that the travel plans are executed with precision.

You will be responsible for developing relationships with secondary schools across Australia, managing tour accounts ensuring that all tour components booked are communicated with the necessary paperwork to the schools, in order for the trips to run smoothly.

Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with schools and create unforgettable experiences for students. Picture yourself designing tours that expose students to cutting-edge space travel at Kennedy Space Centre or organising a Food Studies Tour to Italy, complete with truffle hunting alongside Giovanni and his trusty dog, Chris.

You will be working on enquiries that come via the website, but you will need to be someone who can do much more than that. You'll need to create your own opportunities through attending trade shows, networking through LinkedIn, calling schools and creating opportunities wherever you can find them.
