Seeking an experienced and highly skilled Forensic Chemistry professional to provide expert scientific advice and lead key projects within a dynamic and innovative environment. This role is ideal for a forensic chemist with a strong background in laboratory operations, project management, and quality systems.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide high-level scientific support and advice on projects, policy, research, accreditation, and innovation.
- Lead and manage forensic chemistry projects, ensuring successful delivery and benefits realisation.
- Develop and implement best practice project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Liaise with key stakeholders and provide expert scientific guidance on complex issues.
- Research, analyse, and present complex information in clear, concise reports and briefings.
- Oversee compliance with ISO 17025 and quality systems, ensuring adherence to risk assessments and best practices.
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and safe working environment.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A relevant degree in science (forensic chemistry or a related field).
- Extensive operational experience in a forensic chemistry science laboratory.
- Demonstrated project management expertise, including successful delivery of scientific projects.
- Strong understanding of forensic chemistry methods, ISO 17025 accreditation, and quality systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in project and/or change management.
