This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Collections Officer to join our Finance team in a full-time fixed term capacity, for 12 months.

**What you will do**

You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, and do the following:

- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including major account holders.
- Follow up payment of outstanding invoices and perform account reconciliations.
- Issue credit notes and reminder notices, and allocate client payments.
- Maintain a significant ledger, and allocate payments received from NDIS.
- Facilitate new customer account setup and resolve client payment queries or concerns.
- Perform ad hoc administration and accounts receivable tasks as required.

**What you need for Success**
- Significant experience in accounts receivables and debt collection, preferably in the disability or a similar sector.
- Outstanding communication and relationship building skills.
- High level attention to detail and ability to work autonomously and manage workload.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Team oriented with a supportive, friendly and helpful approach, and client focussed.
- Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency in the use of accounting systems software.

**Desirable**:

- Completion of studies in Accounting or Business.
