Campbell Transport is a locally owned transport and freight company with over 20 years of experience, moving general freight, bulk product, livestock, and mining sector products.
We are seeking aFleet Controllerto join our team in Port Hedland.
This diverse leadership role involves planning, coordinating, and managing the daily operations of the Port Hedland fleet of Quads to achieve maximum performance and meet all targets.
Main responsibilities include :
Managing the fleet for maximum efficiency
Reducing costs and time lost to optimise business efficiency
Delivering exceptional service to clients
Organising fleet coordination to meet production goals
Championing safety culture — "Don't get hurt when moving dirt" — focusing on individual ownership and practical risk management solutions
Conducting safety and compliance checks and implementing necessary changes
Managing drivers daily, ensuring they understand their requirements
Performance management of drivers and recruitment in collaboration with the Operations and HR Managers
Working with the Workshop Manager to maximize haulage capacity without compromising equipment requirements

To succeed, you should have previous leadership experience within the transport industry, a solid background in truck driving, and be safety-minded.
Good organizational and communication skills, the ability to prioritize, and motivate a team are essential.
