We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Fleet Controller to manage the day-to-day coordination of our fleet operations, including company-owned vehicles and subcontractor resources. This is a key role, responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of our transport services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, allocate, and monitor jobs to ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in the Transport Management System (TMS)
  • Optimise utilisation of both internal fleet and subcontractor vehicles
  • Monitor driver fatigue and compliance, reporting any safety concerns or incidents
  • Oversee daily task allocation and supervise operational activities
  • Analyse and report on fleet performance and usage metrics
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure service standards are met

About You:

  • Previous experience in fleet control, transport coordination, or a similar logistics role
  • Proficient in transport-related systems such as Transport Management Software, Container Chain, OneStop, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of fatigue management regulations and safe work practices
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • High attention to detail with strong planning and decision-making capabilities
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally across all levels of the business
