Electronics Field Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Field Technician to deliver outstanding service to our esteemed customers by performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and warranty work. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all repairs are attended to satisfactorily within the required timeframe.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will perform necessary repairs and preventive maintenance on designated equipment in a professional and customer-focused manner. This includes performing test equipment calibration, maintaining all required documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and good housekeeping practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform necessary repairs and preventive maintenance on designated equipment
  • Ensure all repairs are attended to satisfactorily within the required timeframe
  • Provide technical assistance via telephone or at customer sites
  • Prepare quotations for equipment repair and evaluation for warranty repair
Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields
  • Hold QLD REL (restricted electrical licence) or eligible to get one
  • Solid technical experience in an electro-mechanical and/or electrical field
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry would be ideal, but not necessary
  • Understanding of servicing to Australia Standard AS3551
  • Valid and unrestricted Driver's license with access to a vehicle
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
