Operational Risk Manager/Senior Manager - Financial MarketsJoin our dynamic and growing Commodities and Global Markets Group as an Operational Risk Manager / Senior Manager.
Our team consists of Operational Risk specialists who support our business globally on complex trading risks, ensuring that key operational risks are effectively managed and monitored.In-office attendance is required 3-4 days per week.This role is a 12-month maximum term contract.At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape possibilities.

Leverage your expertise in Financial Markets to deliver strategic advice on managing end-to-end risks and enhancing the control environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders including trading desks and support teams to foster a robust operational risk culture, and drive continuous process and control improvements.You will support the articulation of risk issues and controls, evaluate risks in new products and initiatives, investigate incidents to identify root causes, and test control effectiveness.What you offer5+ years experience in Non-Financial Risk Management or Assurance supporting a Financial Markets businessStrong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence at multiple levelsExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsA mindset geared towards continuous improvement, with the ability to interpret and balance commercial issues within a risk frameworkWe welcome applications from anyone inspired to build a better future with us.
