Buller Ski Lifts (BSL) operates an extensive snow making system, not only producing a premium product for extensive skiing terrain but also operating our fleet of snow factories for snow play and various activities.

We are seeking experienced Snowmakers who understand the need to deliver a vital product in a timely, efficient and safe manner. Snowmakers must be physically fit, energetic, outdoor enthusiasts who are available to work long shifts. They will be prepared for night work, manual labour, and extreme weather conditions. They will enjoy the responsibility of working in a small crew and would display a mature work ethic. Ideally this person would be able to commit to several seasons.

Buller Ski Lifts Snowmaking Department also offers generous incentive programs for team members to travel overseas and upskill.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Operating snow factories, fan guns, air/water guns and snow mobiles in a safe and responsible manner
- Providing the best possible skiing experience, by providing a high quality snow product
- Follow company policies and procedures and completing required documentation and reporting procedures
- Perform night work, manual labour in extreme weather conditions
- Operation of the snowmaking systems across Mt Buller

**We are looking for people with**:

- 2 years experience in snowmaking or other ski area experience (i.e. Lift Operations, Snow Grooming) is essential
- High level of safety awareness
- Ability to work outdoors in different weather extremes whilst still maintaining a friendly and positive disposition
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous skiing/snowboarding experience is an advantage but not essential
- Proven experience in the guest service industry
- Computer skills, electronics skills, or a trade background would be an advantage
- Must hold a valid current driver's license
- Must be enthusiastic, highly motivated and a team player
