Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced professional to lead our Guest Experience Department, ensuring exceptional service and memorable experiences for our guests.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams, promoting inclusivity and fun work cultures, and delivering excellent customer service. They should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide training and support to ensure team members are equipped to meet guest expectations.
  • Maintain open communication channels, foster a positive work environment, and promote teamwork.
  • Cultivate relationships with various departments to optimize operations and provide seamless guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with the Grooming and Snowmaking departments regarding Toboggan Park maintenance.
  2. Collaborate with the Lift Operations team on lift operational needs and wait times.
  3. Ensure timely and accurate information dissemination to team members and guests about daily operations, events, and conditions.
  4. Conduct regular team member training sessions, including pre-season formal training and continuous on-the-job instruction.
  5. Maintain adequate staffing levels during peak and off-peak periods while adhering to budget constraints.
  6. Utilize effective communication channels and follow the established chain of command.

Requirements:

  • At least three winter seasons' experience or equivalent at another resort.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
