**The opportunity - Social Media Manager**

The Social Media Manager is responsible for producing campaign plans, writing and implementing social creative briefs, making creative social content recommendations including storyboarding, reviewing and optimising social creative output and community management.

**A snapshot of what you'll do -**
- Support the Social Strategist in producing paid and organic social strategies
- Produce always on and campaign plans and calendars across key social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn) including social copywriting in brand tone of voice
- Produce basic social creative concepts across paid and organic, working autonomously or with the wider creative team to bring them to life using storyboards and/or mock-ups
- Act as social creative consultant, helping creatives shape higher level social ideas in line with best practice, leveraging innovative opportunities where possible
- Support production and design in implementation, ensuring best practices are followed
- Community manage key platforms across multiple clients, including social listening and proactive engagement with communities
- Perform social audits, including social listening and competitor evaluations
- Produce paid and organic social reports on a monthly and/or quarterly basis, including insights and recommendations
- Recommend topline media investment and targeting opportunities that optimise towards best performing content and drive greater ROI
- Proactively spot relevant trends in culture and in the social and content space that can be directly applied to brand content and activations

**SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES**
- Passion for social media marketing and understanding an audience's motivation and behaviour to guide social content creation and advertising
- Excellent social copywriter with attention to detail and the ability to live and breathe a brand's personality, both in creating content and managing communities, responding and reacting to community activity
- Confident communicator who will understand strategic direction and the operational and technical requirements of social media in detail
- Genuine enthusiasm and respect for content creation and production, and the role it plays in the modern marketing world
- Relentlessly curious about the opportunities for social to solve business problems and create impact for good
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects and clients concurrently
- Shows initiative and demonstrates a strong work ethic

**Your ideal experience**:

- Relevant experience at Social Media Manager level in managing social campaigns for household name brand/s - B2C, B2B and grocery/food industry experience ideal
- Social content ideation, including working autonomously or with creatives
- Content planning and production management
- Community management experience
- Use of social tools for social listening and analytics i.e. Brandwatch
