Responsibilities
Ensure the work area is clean, organized, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience, in compliance with Food standards.
Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, waste control, and following production levels and recipes.
Clear tables, wipe benchtops, maintain stock, and process dishes in the washing area while supporting restaurant cleanliness.
Active selling, cash handling, and operation of ovens and fryers where applicable.
Qualifications
Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation.
Experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment; previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded.
Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
Ability to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies, including daily routines around quality and food safety, temperature and date checks.
Role Details
Employment type: Part-time
Seniority level: Not Applicable
Hours: Permanent Part-time, 40-60 hours per fortnight
Roster: Rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts; availability for 3 out of 4 weekends per month
Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
Benefits
Base hourly pay rate plus penalty rates (including weekends, public holidays, and late nights) – $28.31
