Overview

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the work area is clean, organized, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience, in compliance with Food standards.
  • Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, waste control, and following production levels and recipes.
  • Clear tables, wipe benchtops, maintain stock, and process dishes in the washing area while supporting restaurant cleanliness.
  • Active selling, cash handling, and operation of ovens and fryers where applicable.
Qualifications
  • Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment; previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded.
  • Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
  • Ability to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies, including daily routines around quality and food safety, temperature and date checks.
Role Details
  • Employment type: Part-time
  • Seniority level: Not Applicable
  • Hours: Permanent Part-time, 40-60 hours per fortnight
  • Roster: Rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts; availability for 3 out of 4 weekends per month
  • Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
