**Specialist Physiotherapy Coordinator**

This is for a Fixed Term Full Time (76 Hours per Fortnight) appointment until 26 September 2025 with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

**The Opportunity**

Joondalup Health Campus is seeking a **Physiotherapy Specialist Coordinator of Medical and Student Services**to work 76 hours per fortnight.

You will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of specialised, evidence-based physiotherapy services across all a variety of acute wards, as well as specialist services such as pulmonary rehabilitation. You will also be required to work with the Manager to oversee and supervise staff, develop services, and implement changes within the service ensuring optimal client outcomes.

**Duties and responsibilities will also involve, but are not limited to**:

- Supervising and providing training to the physiotherapy team in the department/unit;
- Role modelling excellence in clinical care and customer service;
- Effectively liaising and coordinating with customers, relevant staff, doctors, community service providers and other stakeholders as required;
- Coordinate staff rostering across relevant clinical areas, ensuring adequate coverage of absences.

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with experience working across a variety inpatient settings. Your passion for providing quality care, ability to lead and motivate a fast-paced team, and your client-first attitude is essential for this role.

**Essential Selection Criteria**
- **Hold full and current professional registration (AHPRA registered)**:

- Extensive demonstrated clinical experience, knowledge and competence in the physiotherapy management of patients in an acute medical setting.
- High-level leadership and management skills, including experience in physiotherapy service coordination and development
- Demonstrated highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, including conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated engagement in a multidisciplinary quality initiative, project or research
- Proven ability to identify training needs and develop appropriate educational programs in line with departmental, hospital and team goals for both staff and students.
