Based in Victoria, you will be driving sales growth and market share by promoting our Diabetes portfolio to endocrinologists, clinical educators and patients in the Victoria East & North Eastern areas including East Melbourne, Preston Heidelberg, Box Hill, Maroondah, Albury, Shepparton, Wodonga & Echuca.This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business.
Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements.

As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.As a Territory Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and market share for our Diabetes portfolio.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Foster and develop partnerships with key health care professionals within the territoryDevelop and maintain sound clinical knowledge of the diabetes product portfolio to educate key stakeholders as well as help the journey to technology for patientsBe a partner for patients throughout their technology journey including before sale educating what they product is capable of, during the sale with sound education and after sale with effective follow up to ensure a excellent patient experienceAchieve sales revenue and growth targets for assigned territoryLead, develop & manage territory strategy to achieve quarterly and annual AOP TargetsDrive growth by identifying new and existing business opportunities, developing creative solutions to overcome barriers and relationships to enable private pathways and other growth opportunitiesTravel within the assigned region, as well as other regions as requiredRequired Knowledge and Experience:Minimum Bachelor's Degree is requiredMinimum 3 years of experience within the Medical Device &/or pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the Diabetes spaceSales experience &/or sales capability in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth, or knowledge of account planning, territory management and forecasting in devices or healthcare industryProven clinical and technical knowledge in Diabetes is desirableStrong ability to build and nurture strong clinical and business relationships with customersUnderstanding of internal workings of hospitals/departments e.g. clinics, patients and key influencersProactiveness and adaptability with the confident ability to navigate a changing environmentIs intellectually curious and understands the responsibility of continuous learning and willingness to learn and be coachedWillingness to travel within the assigned region, as well as other regions as requiredMaintain a valid driver's licencePhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
