**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, supervise, and mentor the Events Food & Beverage team during shifts
- Brief staff at the start of each shift, coordinate duties, and manage breaks
- Oversee event operations, ensuring exceptional service and smooth execution
- Handle event enquiries and bookings in the reservations system
- Provide on-the-job training and support staff development
- Monitor and provide feedback on staff performance, presentation, and service standards
- Foster a positive working relationship with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with legislation and responsible service standards
- Manage and resolve minor staff or patron issues professionally and escalate where required
- Assist with hands-on Food and Beverage service when needed
- Previous supervisory experience in hospitality, preferably in events or functions
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Clear communication skills and a strong customer service focus
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Current RSA certification
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on teamwork and professionalism
