Reporting directly to the Service Manager, this role is responsible for carrying out high-quality service and repair work on customer vehicles in accordance with repair orders and dealership standards.Key Responsibilities:Inspect and test vehicles to identify mechanical issues and complete preventative maintenance.Perform services such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and filter replacements.Diagnose and repair engine failures, brake issues, gearbox faults, and electrical/mechanical malfunctions.Conduct test drives and make adjustments to ensure optimal vehicle performance.Comply with all relevant safety and emissions regulations.Maintain vehicle appearance by cleaning and detailing as needed.Record all service and repair activity accurately.Maintain workshop tools and equipment by following operating procedures and performing maintenance.Manage parts and supplies inventory, including ordering and stock verification.Stay current with automotive technologies and best practices through training and reading technical manuals.Ideal Candidate Will Have:Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)Strong mechanical and diagnostic skillsAbility to carry out MOT-related inspections and vehicle assessmentsExperience rebuilding engines and gearboxesFamiliarity with LPG conversions and tuningExperience fitting radios and other vehicle featuresExcellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skillsValid driver's licenseWhy Join Fix Auto MulgraveSupportive and professional team environmentFully equipped, modern workshopOpportunities for professional developmentApply NowSend your resume and cover letter to:*******************************We look forward to having a skilled and passionate Motor Mechanic join our team
