Regional Group is currently seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Mechanical Fitter to join their team at South Keswick Quarry, based in Dubbo.

This role is suitable for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Mechanical Fitter who is punctual, has an excellent work ethic, and takes pride in their work.

Open to candidates with experience in Agricultural, Road Transport, and Light Vehicle Mechanics looking to transition into Plant Mechanics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out mechanic repairs and preventative maintenance of vehicles, plant, and mobile equipment
  • Owning repairs, working efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Working to tight schedules while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Coordinating with suppliers to source parts based on quality and price
  • Maintaining professional and clear communication with all staff
  • Liaising regularly with supervisors and quarry managers

Knowledge and experience required:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a repair and maintenance role
  • Sound knowledge of diesel engines and emissions systems
  • Knowledge of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Full working rights within Australia
