**Community Recycling Centre**

1 x Permanent Part Time - 18 hours, 2 days per week (Friday & Saturday - 6:00am to 3:30pm)

Liverpool City Council is looking for a** **1 x part time (POS 2418) **Operative for our Community Recycling Centre to work in the Waste and Cleansing Department located at Council's Operation Centre. This facility provides the community with a free and convenient way of dropping off their problem wastes for environmentally friendly recycling.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a CRC Operative you will have experience in the Customer Service, Operations, Administrative requirements, and that are carried out in a cost effective, time effective manner to a high-quality standard within the scope of skills and competencies.

You will have demonstrated experience and working as part of a team and knowledge of Work, Health and Safety (WHS) practices, the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), ethical practice and multi-cultural diversity. Manual handling skills are also required, and the successful applicant must have a flexible attitude towards responsibilities and hours of work.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant.

**ABOUT YOU.**

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential areas:

- Forklift Licence
- General Construction WHS (White Card)
- Implement Traffic control and Implement Traffic control plans tickets (or in the process of obtaining them)
- Demonstrated forklift experience in residential areas.
- Experience in waste removal.
