About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and caring people, with a genuine interest in a career in aged care, for part-time traineeship opportunities with IRT.
This position is available in our Aged Care Centre at IRT Culburra.
This exciting program is for a minimum of 24 months, and includes undertaking a Certificate III Individual Support, delivered by ITeC Academy, whilst gaining on-the-job experience and secure employment in a rapidly growing industry.
To Be Successful You Will Have
A commitment to undertaking the Certificate III in Individual support qualificatio
n Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week (combination of work and study).

To be eligible for a traineeship candidates must:
Be living or working in NS
W Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident Must not have already completed or started studying a Certificate III in Individual Support or similar (higher qualifications in a like role such as Certificate IV or Bachelor make you not eligible for this traineeship
) Have basic internet knowledge and ready access to the interne
t Be able to use a computer and have basic digital literacy skill
s Have basic reading and writing skills to answer assessment question
s Own a computer/device to be able to complete course requirement
