The New Acland Coal Mine (NAC), a thin seam open cut mining operation is owned and managed by New Hope Group. Based in Acland, a short drive north-west of Toowoomba NAC has played a key role in the Darling Downs region as an employer and economic contributor since it began operation in October 2002.

We are excited to offer a permanent full-time position for a Warehouse Officer to join our team on site at New Acland Coal.

**What you will be doing**:
As the Warehouse Officer, you will assist in all aspects of warehouse operations and supply. You will manage inventory, coordinate deliveries, and maintain a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

**You will achieve success by**:

- Providing warehouse operational support to enable the mine to meet production and equipment availability targets
- Receive and process deliveries, conduct virtual stock checks and reconcile differences
- Managing freight to ensure all scheduled deliveries are on time in full
- Overseeing processing of all non-conformance issues regarding inventory
- Identifying and grouping all stock to ensure an appropriate storage and retrieval systems
- Maintaining and managing safety standards within the warehouse's and yard
- Ensuring warehouse activities are conducted in accordance with site policies and legislation
- Conducting cyclic and financial stocktakes as required

**What you will need to succeed**:

- A minimum of three (3) years in the day-to-day operation of a busy mining or industrial warehouse
- Experience in working & communicating effectively with teams
- Experience in the use of Electronic Reporting Platforms and Computerised Maintenance
- Proven ability to deliver to deadlines and ensure warehouse operations are performed in accordance with all relevant company and legislative requirements
- High Risk Ticket for Forklift Operations
- Current coal board medical and Standard 11 Induction (Or willing to obtain)
