Our client is a leading provider of stock management solutions, servicing a diverse range of industries across Queensland. We are currently seeking a proactive Warehouse Inventory Controller to join their dynamic team. This full-time permanent position is based in their Toowoomba office.
As a Warehouse Inventory Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining total inventory control within the warehouse.
Your responsibilities will include purchasing, receiving, picking and packing, reporting, and conducting regular stocktakes. You will collaborate closely with the Sales and Operations teams to effectively manage inventory, including stock levels, forecasting, and supplier price updates. You will also provide internal sales support to the sales team. Attention to detail is crucial as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all stock holdings and providing accurate and timely reports on inventory accuracy.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in inventory control and the use of inventory management systems
- Ability to manage and coordinate inventory processes, systems, and reporting
- Proficiency in maintaining sufficient stock levels, including stock purchasing
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective communication between the warehouse and the sales team
- Strong experience with computer-based warehouse management systems (previous experience with Accentis is advantageous)
- High attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure efficient operations and client satisfaction
- Current forklift licence
