**About The Role**

**Reporting to**: Senior Advisor - Environment (Construction)

**The Details**
Reporting to the Senior Advisor - Environment (Construction), you will support the Project Team deliver the construction of the West Musgrave Project. Your primary function will be to support the Senior Advisor - Environment (Construction) to ensure the Construction Environment Management Plan (CEMP) and all regulatory and Mining Agreement obligations are adhered to by construction contractors.

**Key responsibilities**
- Support the project delivery and construction teams to comply with environmental and cultural heritage obligations.
- Support the delivery of on-boarding material to construction teams so that systems, processes and requirements are understood and embedded in the site culture.
- Monitor contractor compliance with regulatory and Mining Agreement obligations.
- Deliver the land disturbance permitting process, particularly in relation to obligations made to the indigenous community.
- Monitor for non-conformance against the environmental and cultural heritage management systems and facilitate the implementation of corrective actions and reporting (internal and external) as required.
- Prepare or contribute to compliance reporting and broader OZ Minerals sustainability reporting.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to pre-empt and manage threats and identify opportunities to minimise impacts to environmental and cultural values.
- Work closely with the Operational Community and Environment Teams to manage relationships with key Stakeholders (including regulators, community groups, local suppliers, industry groups and employment providers) with respect to environmental and cultural heritage compliance and management.
- Support leading practice in environmental compliance and foster the intent of the 'We Grow Sustainability' plan and associated environment, social and governance roadmaps.

**Applicant requirements**
- Experience in environmental management and compliance monitoring within an industrial setting.
- A self-starter with the ability to build rapport with teammates, contractors, and suppliers to deliver optimal outcomes
- Ideally experience in developing and executing environmental systems for industrial projects
- Experience in monitoring, communicating and correcting compliance to plan.
- Openly gathers and exchanges information and ideas
- Develops trust and confidence
- Relevant tertiary qualification or work experience._V
